So I was cleaning up all the gunk that left on the engine and trans and now when I start my car, all the lights are on and it seems like its getting to much power from the battery, everything is glowing super super bright and it’s surging really bad, also my aftermarket gauges at one point stopped working, and to add insult to injury I got blue smoke coming out James Bond style. The car has had valve seals done already, has been sitting at 15lbs steady for a while at 11-1 AFR with no issue and it’s been running great, untill I power washed parts of the engine bay. I’m worried I soaked the ECU somehow… any recommendations or things to look for?

Agree on it being the alternator.
Start the engine and put a volt meter across the battery terminals. You should see between 13 and 14 volts. Any more or less and your alternator is not charging properly.

I agree I think I might of got the alternator a little to much without realizing it, I re located the battery to the back of the car, it keeps all the light on after starting it but the burning oil is what is throwing me off

From the exhaust, tore the car down a bit and found no oil coming from the engine into the exhaust manifold, spark plugs just have build up from unburnt fuel. My car has ran rich since I’ve got it and I’m still trying to figure that out. First picture is kinda trash but its the hot side of the turbo

Smoking when it’s starting to warm up, I shut the car off and start it again and it lets out smoke for 3-5 seconds, I put it in drive and it goes away but I feel like the car isn’t moving much when I have my foot down. I also took the intake off and tried to spin it and it wasn’t spinning freely, kinda gave me a half turn, but no shaft play at all

When I idle at a red light or stop sign, nothing, just when it’s at temp and parked

I wonder if you have leftover water that’s steaming off as you drive it and you only see it at idle of course because the car isn’t moving.

Are you driving it with the possible alternator issue still there?

Well rn I’m not driving it, the smoking started around the same time I started having electrical issue. So I got 2 things going wrong at the same time. On top of the stock manifold is cracked as well which I know it’s common and working on getting a new one

Yes it’s blown, wish I could post the video. Soo can I fit a 16g and not have to tune my car? I don’t have ecmlink so I’m pretty limited atm so any suggestions for a stock size replacement or if the 16g would work please let me know. Thanks guys for all the help so far
