Somewhere in BC,
Hey guys so my issue is that my switch for my drivers side window is broken when I press for it to go down or up on my drivers side window nothing works but my others windows work on the switch and when I pressed my top to open all my windows rolled down including the drivers window how can I get my drivers window to get back up? Is there a way to manually get this drivers window up or a pin on the harness that I can use? Thanks,

Rix.

to Manually get your window to return to the upright position, just hook it to a 12v power source.

You stated that the motor is working since it rolled down, So chances are pretty good it's the Switch. Check your local Junk yard, and swap it out, or source one from the Above suggested sites, Amazon, Rockauto, and last but not least the Stealership.

I guess i missed the point that it rolled down when you hit the top switch but won't roll back up. Before buying a new switch i would pull the old one apart and clean the copper contact's. That is usually all that is wrong with them. The master switch for the spyders are expensive and hard to come by used. As others have said you can add 12 volts to the plug on the window motor to roll the window back up.

Hey thanks for the reply guys The window motor works great it must be the switch I tryed cleaning it but no go I'm now on the look for another one,

Dont go look for another switch.. If the motor works,i have a semi simple fix for window switches. Take the switch out,if you open the switch up,where the up and down part of the switches makes contact with the copper contacts on the bottom..The copper part is probbaly full of crap.So if you open the switch, clean the copper and put it back together. The switch should work again, and u spent nothing on a fix.
