Edmonton,
ok so i have been having alot of problems lately. i have been diagnosing a no start issue for some bit now. i narrowed it dow to the ignition amp. i replaced it and all was well for about 3 days.

i was driving down the road when all the sudden my cel came on, it drove perfect, no problems at all.. until i shut it off. it would not start back up again, and was doing the same thing it did befor the power trans was replaced.

i unhooked the bat, went to a movie, came back and it started.. cel didnt return until the morning. now it has been over 8 hours and still no restart.. the cel will come on at random and somethimes goes away..

i have pulled the ecu, no sign of dammage at all anywhere. checked all the wire connections to the sensor..

im stuck i dont know where to start.. it was a almost new power transistor

as soon as the car warms up it pops the transistor... im on the third one.. what would cause this to happen?

Is the PT near an unusual (non-stock) source of heat or not in stock location? Also check if coil primary's resistance drops way down with heat (can use heat gun). Also check if filter capacitor is bad (very cheap - just replace).

the PT is in the stock location to the left me the coil. where and what is the mpi? coils should be fine as when I switched them around there was still no spark on 2 and 3. what is the filter capacitor. oh yah and the plugs are wet with gas 1 and 4 are fouled. which is normal for not sparking in 2 and 3, I assume

ok i jumped the diag port..
ony problem i had was that i compared my port to the 1g and 2 g ones and my pins are completly different...

i tried it out anywasy.. messed around with a few pins and this is what i got

short-long-short-short-long
long-long-short-short-short
constant
and short blinks

so far the only one that makes sens is the second one i got, but i dont think it resolves my problem, becasue if the cas was to fail i wouldnt have spark OR fuel..

im missing spark on 2 and 3 but all of the plugs ar wet with gas

any suggestions
