please help with my injectors

I baught a set of 1000cc denso injectors. The part i need help with is i was told they fit. They were out of a evo. I had a set of 550cc and the hole is smaller where it goes to the motor. Is it bigger because of the bigger cc? I know evo injectors will work. Will they work or is this my imagination?

I hope you're not planning on tuning 1000cc injectors with the SAFCII listed in your profile.

Did you get the lower injector seals from your 550's out of the fuel rail? Post a pic of the new ones.

Evo injectors fit perfectly into the injector ports on the back of a DSM head (1g or 2g) so I'm not exactly sure why you are finding that they don't. If you've got the injector seals like the above already mentioned are you sure you aren't trying to put them in backwards or possibly putting them in the bolt holes of the fuel rail and not the injector ports?

I fixed your images in the post above because both links were broken. I'd appreciate it though if you'd pay a bit closer attention to your spelling and grammar.

Something about those doesn't look right. If you compare your 550's and the new 1000's side by side and the fuel rail-side of the new injector is larger, than whatever car they came from probably had a non-stock rail.

Denso does not make 1000cc injectors

Ok. Thanks very much for all the help. This is my first build, so theres just so much.
I got them from a ebay auction. The guy I talked to said they were denso SARD injectors. They were out of his evo.

That part # on that injector comes back to a pte/delphi 1000cc injector.

So they are 1000cc injectors. I got a good deal on them. Since they are out of a evo, they will work.
