well i've always wanted to do this ive had this car almost 8 years now and will never sell it or any of my cars for that matter, i drew it up in my head, then put it on paper and measured it exactly how and where i wanted it. then brought that to a reputable shop to make my dream come to reality, and im very pleased with the results.

If your not running any muffler, I personally would have just put a single turn-down where the split is and kept the body panels clean.

then that would of made it just a long ass downpipe, i wanted it to look EXACTLY how it is. and it costed me a pretty penny to do that. i used to run open downpipe for the longest time. but this is what ive been wanting to do for a long time. i think im the first 1g to do this. =)

Im not a fan..I don't like how you went through the body..Which I would like pics of the inside on what you cutout, and what kind of heat sheild you made, for going up into the body with the exhaust..

Maybe then it would make more sense to me..

Great fab project tho..Great enginuity...

Well like I said, props on the workmanship and ingenuity. I just wouldn't want the added weight and to cut the body panels, but that's just my personal preference.

It's always nice to see people still trying new ideas after all this time. :thumb:

Thanks man, i appreciate it, most people who see it here in person usually like it. I'll be showing this car and my VR4 at this years Mitsubishi Owners Day on July 9th. Ill be sure to make a Thread and post a shitload of pics :thumb:

Also, sound clip please!

Thanks man, yeah it sounds pretty freakin mean haha kinda sounds like an SRT-4 with open downipe at idle but when you get on it, it sounds like a Stroked 35r evo, its crazy. and at night when it backfires the flames come out from both sides its pretty awesome

I bet i am the only 1g who has Dual side exits like this =D

Now you just gotta keep the camera from dying:rolleyes:

:p

I don't think a sound clip would do it any justice anyways

Damn!!! That is pretty sweet looking, I will admit it is clean, I want to do this now, only out once side instead of both, That is some pretty nice workman ship too!! If you dont mind I would also like to see more pics on the fab of it to see what all went into it. Congrats!

Thanks man, hey your in Avondale? My family lives over there in Goodyear I take the GST over there all the time

And I am goin to go x3 on the video. And pics of how it was done or more details LOL,

Where does the drive shaft fit? Looks like this is on your GST.

I thought about trying this myself, but not sure I want to chop up the interior and the body. I'm just going to run a turn-down under the car right around where yours splits. Very cool looking though.

i like it! now you just need to tint the windows and drop it an inch or two!
