so if you eliminate the o2 sensor, i take it you use the one down after the cat to tune with??? i know theres no cat on most aftermarket turbo backs, but u know with the placement after the cat
 
The "O2 eliminator" doesn't actually get rid of the sensor, you just place it elsewhere on the turbo-back exhaust. "O2 elminators" are really O2 housing eliminators. They just have the bung for the sensor in the one piece.
 
A more accurate term would be: cast iron O2 housing eliminator. Both O2 sensors are needed (kinda) the second is merely a cat check. If the second sensor reads a value close to what the first has read then it means the cat. is bad.
 
would i be correct in assuming that, from your statement, the air/fuel ratio changes from the time the gasses pass by the o2 sensor in the o2 housing to the time the same gasses pass by the sensor in the cat? Correct me if Im wrong.

Yes that is correct, the cat not only converts "X" components to "Y", but at the temp the cat runs at, it burns off fuel, oil, coolant.. all sorts of things (not completely might I add)

Uhh.... kinda. It's not really an A/F mix anymore.... some of the 'leftovers' get converted into other things in the cat, and like the other guy said, heat is another factor.

It's not really that the "A/F" changes, but the chemical composition and oxygen content changes from before to after the catalytic converter, so the sensor will read differently.
