I'm not sure if you have the time, but if you could just take pictures of everything. I mean, photo essay style of the car, I'd really appreciate it. I've got my motor sitting on a stand right now and I'm just trying to think of everything I want to do before I throw it back in the car. And for some reason, the flying banana always gives me good Ideas. Mostly because I see Greg's good ideas and then steal them!

I will sure try, man there are not enough hours in the day...why cant we have 46 hour days? I am remodling my house, raising my two year old daughter, getting my race team going, working on my back yard, driving and flying back and forth between Houston TX and Montana. Life is crazy right now.

I'd love to see some inner shots of the fenders and maybe some of the spacing with the wheels attached. No big rush, just whenever. Thanks again.

Ok guys I will be moving to Houston Tx over the summer and the car is comming down with me. I just added a new car to the McBride Motorsports team and we have Bobby Hillen Jr. himself helping out with this project below is a pic of the new car and hauler for the team. Sorry dont have a picture of the trailer right now.

Let me know if there's any info you seek. What part of Houston are you moving too?

Not sure yet, I am staying with a friend and his girlfriend right now, they live down by Clear Lake I think. I am near Bay Area Mall. I am going back to Montana on monday then moving down around the 1st of june. I have no probelm with you comming to check out the car. Just so everyone knows my friend is the Driver of the late model I am just the owner. I am still going to drive that beautiful yellow car. ;)

Good luck in Houston.

I'm sorry to see you go, because I thought we'd be able to pit together at a few events, perhaps in Nebraska, Western Iowa or Colorado. Maybe we'll see you at the NASA Nationals. With luck, we'll be in different classes, and we'll kick Z06 butt together.

Here are some more pictures of the 1g, A web site for the team is being built. And there will be more pictures as well as a video of the car up soon. Thank you all

You would be surprised how much heat is dissipated out though the scoop. I was surprised myself, and don't quote me on this. But I believe it is necessary in helping keep the engine temps down in the kinda of outside heat temperature's this car runs in. It runs way cooler then my ASA car. But of course its still a V8 verses a 4cyl

Blah!!! Its hot down here in Houston, I do not like it one bit. But I need to be here. People keep telling me about a new Road Course they built down here. As soon as things slow down I am going to go take a look at the track and maybe run a few times before the end of summer. I just need things to slow down a bit, and I tell you what....things are not! Just this week I think I aged four years.

Hot? Wait a few more weeks

Are you talking about the rumor out in west Katy. Unfortunately the only open track local is MSR-Houston. Next is TWS in College Station and then MSR-Cresson in Dallas. There are two new tracks opening around Dallas too, Eagle's Canyon and Racer's Ranch.

Any events on the horizon?

Katy, Texas? I used to live there! I miss Texas sooo much. IL sucks.

I want to see some vids of this beast racing.

The car is looking great!

Hey, I didn't know you relocated to TX. You could always go up to TWS, or up here around Dallas is MSR and TMS. And there's a third road-course being built (maybe done by the end of the year)

The vent helped keep my coolant temps at around 200 degrees at my last track day, which I've never been able to do before.

Wow, why haven't I heard more about this thing then. I've seen it in the past but never really heard any feedback. I wish there were more/better pictures of it on a 2g.

Edit: Are yours the Carbon fiber ones? I looked all over RRE's webpage and didn't see it. Carbon trix has the CF one though. Which one are you using?

Sorry I'm in hurry and will have to make this short, I will take some better pictures of the vent for you tomorrow and post them up along with more information

Again, I have to make this fast, I am on hold with 94.5 The Buzz. I do not have any planned events so far. I am trying to balance two cars that are two different styles of racing. I will run a few small events this year with plans to hit it big in 08. And I do have some plans to demo both cars. I will keep everyone updated so they know. And there will be plenty of pictures.

I'm using the Carbontrix vent, the larger one.
