painting parts in engine bay

im putting my old t25 back on my car with a new evo 3 manifold so i decided to make things look a little better so i painted the turbo, j pipe, licp,uicp,1g bov,top and bottom heat shield. tell me how it looks its not the best job i didnt take any time or prep work. im using dupli color engine enamel. is there any other spray paint you guys recommend for high heats?

i will once i put everything together i still need to change the lifters and valve cover gasket cause it leaks oil then paint my valve cover

Oh ic, well the motor bay sounds like its coming together. I wish i had time to do so. Its hard when your dsm is your daily driver and u work 16 hours a day

Looks good I also would like to see it when its back together. I hear ya on the work 16 hours a day and daily driver. But I myself am going to park mine in a week when my truck is fixed so I can spend what little weekend time I have on it.

You mean like from the heat? Or just peel off over time

well the manifold cover and turbo prob will peel off in about 10minutes unless powder coated...

idk ill see this is my first time using this paint for high heats so ill see if it holds up
