Paint Cloth seats

I have tan cloths seats and wanted to paint then black should I or shouldnt I and if I should how should I do it I tried with leather seats but the paint started flaking off can I fix that some how

i would just get the seats reupholstered. i've tried that duplicolor vinyl and fabric paint but to me it makes the cloth too stiff.

I once used stuff that must have been similar to what ktgurl87 used. It kind of hardened the fabric and eventually where the fabric creased from my body, white lines began to show.

Either get them reupholstered or just get some seat covers for now.
