Black 1st Gen Cloth Seats

How Rare are the black and grey cloth 1gen seats? And how much are they worth?

Im not sure but I have them in my car. Grey on the inside(almost a checker design) and black on the outside.

yes those are the ones. I want these for my car but the guy who is selling them wants $200 PLUS my stock TSI FWD Seats. they are the plush feeling ones dark grey center with a light grey wrap.

yea, I offered him my DL seats that arent perfect at all and 100$ but he passed up, then i offered him the seats with a valve cover and windshield wiper motor and 100 bucks and he still passed. So then i got serious and offered him my TSI seats with 100 and he still said the 200$ is non negotable. He says they are VERY rare. In yet he has 2 sets. one in his turbo car and one in his Dl. makes no sense.

I agree with him. What year of cars do the Black/Grey Cloth seats come off of? What year do the Charcol/black seats come off of? I want all 3 but its so hard to find a nice set. I found the charcol ones before but they were junk!

Its just an option. My brother and I have the same cars and we both have different interior color. You just need to keep searching untill you find them.

I have those seats in my car. I got them from a friend who bought a parts car. I've mostly seen them in red 90 or 91 Eclipses turbos. So try your local junk yard, maybe you will get lucky.

Those seats came in 92-94 talons, I know for a fact. I have never seen an eclipse or laser with those seats, but my old 93 tsi had them and so does a friend with a 92 tsi. I have also seen them in a stock 94 tsi a couple of weeks ago.

EDIT: The 94 I saw them in was an esi, not a tsi.

I have a 1993 tsi, didn't come with them. Black exterior..
I like the black seats though, I'm just going to reupholster mine anyways.

Hmm, I'm not sure, I wasn't planning to use the stock fabric. Somehow I doubt they manufacture that exact cloth anymore, but you could find some pretty darn close.
And as far as padding, a buddy of mine cuts memory foam, so I'm going to get hooked up on that . You can find pleanty of padding, but as far as "stock" from mitsu.. I doubt they'd sell you some.

My 91 GSX came with those seats. They're featured in the '91 Eclipse sales brochures as standard on the GS-T and GSX. They don't list which color interiors came with which exterior color. The black seats in the 92 sales brochures look like a different pattern.

I had those in my 92 eclipse for a while.They came out of a 90 n/t eclipse I parted out.I set them on fire to get the metal,since Im scrapping the car.
