Hey guys.

I've got some plans for my tranny....I'm gonna be getting my stuff from IPT:

rebuild kit (which includes end clutch kit)

19,000gvw tranny cooler

tempurature gauge sender block

and most likely shifter kit.

I already have the trans temp gauge.

I have heard about the paddle shift kit though....which lets you actually shift yourself....like some newer cars have on their steering wheels. These kits even come with a little screen displaying what gear you're in.

I think this would be cool as hell to have, but I only know of them being made for the turbo DSM trannys (because NT is Chrysler).

Does anyone know by chance of one made for my model DSM and where I can get a hold of one?

Wait where did you hear this from ? sequential gear boxes such as quailfe have that with a talyor fit end bell but their trans cost anywhere from $10-20,000 and they use a clutch ( aka they are a manual) , but you only use the clutch for 1st and reverse, the rest you have to just let you foot off the gas and tap a shifter either up or down, and they have a little display box to tell you which gear your in , unless your talking about a tiptronic type which i think level 10 can help you out with that one, so far i've only heard of them using a shift kit and it's like a manual valve body where you have to shift using the floor shifter but as for paddle i don't know.

There are many "clutches" in the auto tranny.....

The shift kit simply lets the tranny shift harder and quicker....it's nothing *you* physically do....it just kinda upgrades the tranny. The paddle shift kit is different....it physically puts you in charge of shifting....so yeah, in a way it's kinda like "triptronic". What/who is level 10?

Defiant- yeah, I saw that tcugo link before and contacted Hugo from it. That is how I found out it is apparently not compliant for my tranny because it's the NT Chrysler tranny...So I was hoping someone knew of one that does work for my tranny.
