2G P1105 Fuel Pressure Solenoid

Hey guys, i've been researching this all day...But i've got a few more questions and still having issues. I'm throwing a P1105 code for a fuel pressure solenoid. My fps has been bypassed but it still plugged in. There was corrosion around the plug. I tried cleaning it off and plugging it back in. The CEL came back on. I've got to pass emissions for inspection. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

had the same problem. Couldnt pass emmissions, you got fuel system upgrades?

Nah, no upgrades. I looked at it a little closer and it looks like the hose thats been used to bridge the fps connections is new so the person before me was having the same problem. I've got a 14b turbo, fmic, bov, and 3" exhaust. that's pretty much it. I've gotta get this fixed asap. I had a 10 day temp tag, but it runs out tonight so if I don't pass emissions, I won't be driving.

Have you tried a different solenoid?.

Maybe that's your problem.

Id say soak that sucker with contact cleaner and hope for the best. You might get lucky by pulling the -ive battery connection off just before the test to reset the ECU.... Never know

I have had this problem and could not figure a solution. I searched high and low on this forum to discover that most people narrow this down to a boost leak issue and the solenoid is getting a wrong signal.

I had replaced the solenoid with a brand new one just to discover that I still had the CEL.
