2G Fuel Pressure Solenoid CEL P1105

My check engine light came back on again today, I ran the code and it turned out to be my fuel pressure solenoid for the 3rd time! When I first bought the car the check engine light was on for that and i have replaced it twice so far. So my question is, is there any thing other than the solenoid on the fire wall that will cause the check engine light to come on? Thanks

On the firewall why only there lots of sensors in the car, wondering why you chose the firewall?

What I meant by that, is there another place that there could be a problem related to the fuel pressure solenoid, thats not the accualy sensor which would cause the CEL for that to come on?

One that i know of the solenoid itself, check the wiring is it a new sensor you bought.

Yea i have checked all the wirring and the plug has no corrosion (sp?) and the new solenoid i got off of my project dsm but that never threw up a CEL for that.

Swapping parts from one car to another done that i would get a a new sensor and eliminate that issue.
