I agree with 1993Eclipse GS, find a new friend and a new girlfriend.

You could say N/Ts are girl cars cause I see a lot of women driving NTs. I still have not seen one girl driving a modified GST or GSX. If a girl is driving it, it is stock.

The 2G eclipse was definately marketed towards women, mitsu even claimed that years ago.

It doens't matter tho, a car is a car. I see guys driving the VW Beetle which is definately a chick car. VW never marketed it as a chick car cause the original beetle was not a womans car, so why the new one would be is beyond me. It is just how some people percieve the cars.

I have a Porsche Boxster. People say that is a girls car, however porsche does not market cars towards either sex. They are marketed on Power, prestige, haritage etc, those are all traits that lead men to cars. So why some dill-hole in a Mustang says it's a girls car is beyond me.

Before I started my new rebuild out of boredom...I let my girl try to drive my car and it scared her so bad..she would not get behind the wheel again...so on tha note...my car says GS on its Registration..we gotta problem And on another note Neons are way more of a girl car..and so are mustangs..more girls in my town drive mustangs and neons. There is only one girl pimpin a dsm the rest are guys..and I was the 1st

I dont think our cars are made for girls..or any specific sex, but i do believe the cars lines and styling apeal to girls taste in a sports car. more girls drive v6 mustangs then drive dsms.

I know for a fact the original owner of my car was a girl. I know this because I work at mitsubishi, I had service bring up all the records. The record told me absolutly everything about that car...way more history then I ever wanted to know.

eh around here, no one cares. My GF drives a 1G AWD, and her best friend has an a 11 sec 1G. Her BF has about 4 DSM's and I have 2. I don't think they are "girls or guys cars" but just kickass cars that are good for people in the 18-Defiant age group.

I drive a N/T 97 Talon and a 90 GSX. The 97 I just bought for a DD and is almost all stock, but my gsx is modded. Dont underestimate the girls.

My gf is always saying, "people say I drive a guys car". So one time she wanted to girl it up a bit so she put a lay on the mirror. I was like no that is dumb, besides that causes a huge blind spot.

She drives a near mint condition 94 tsi AWD, its red, all stock.

So that is 2 girls that have said their cars are guy cars.

If they we're girls cars they wouldn't be high maintinance.

i have a 97 spyder gst...and i definatly think its a girls car cosmetically, me and all my freinds actually nicknamed her Barbie....but....its fast and honestly, people who make fun of our cars just dont get it, I think 1g's and 2g's look really clean and nice. One upside to this is EVERY time we're at a freinds house with a group of people and go somewhere, there's 3 girls in my car, they all love it, so take the crap and roll on knowing you have a fast 2.0L that girls love

Many moons ago when I was 16 I hated Eclipses and thought they were girl cars. (Of course I drove a 72 Charger). But now I love DSM's and still think they are girl cars. Sorry, but they are. Majority (of any gen) are driven by high school and college women. This is a HIGH production, compact, economic, sporty car that obviously catches the eye of many women. Wether they want it for themself, or they are attracted by a guy in it. It's just a STEREOTYPE! By the way, I have seen some nice turbo's driven by women.

Funny....I've never looked at the Eclipse (1st or 2nd Gen) and thought they were a girl's or guy's car. The only car I've ever thought was truly "girly" is the stupid looking Beetle.

I'd own a 2Gb GSX if I originally bought the DSM but my Dad bought it so I didn't have say in it. And I still love that RS....won't give it up unless something horrible happens to her. A lot of stuff has gone into it. But one day I'll have my 3rd car if it's meant to happen....a 2Gb GSX 5-speed.

Im pretty sure cars are marketed toward anyone who will buy them. Cars are not sex friendly. Its just the way it seems when one sex takes more of a liking towards it.

The 3G Eclipses were built to appeal to women.

The 2Gs were not but since they look soo good, women started buying them. It was the direct competition to the Dodge Neon, which everybody knows is a girl car together with the VW bug (flower vase and all).

No girl with put up with a car constantly needing repairs and attention. It will be comparable to a bad boyfriend.

He has a 89 Foxbody Mustang. To me that is not a girls car at all. Most girls think its ugly. We are in the mix of putting a pro charger on it with AEM EMS. Im pretty sure he will smoke me when he finishes it.
