opinions please

im picking up a 92 tsi shell this weekend and this is what im thinking of dropping in it.....

i dont really know much about cars/dsm's/engines or anything for that matter but i do know that ive wanted a fast talon for years now and i just got my license back friday so now im jumping into it and ###### gettin in way over my head but w/e... anyway i think its worth 2050 shipped it claims to put out 270hp but i dont know if it comes with the ecu and i also dont know how much more im gonna have to spend gettin it into my car for hoses and whatever other ish it needs

so any help/opinions/suggestions i would greatly apreciate

If youre jumpin in head first why not just get a 6bolt block and build from there. With endless funds you could be up and running in a week with some time and all the parts. For 2 grand you can get a stock(head, injectors, etc.) 6bolt with forged internals.
If you still want to go the jdm route. I'm not sure what their hp rating was from overseas. It seems high to me though. I thought they were around 220-240hp I could be wrong and probably am.
If it were an under 60k motor i dont think it'd be a bad deal. But you never know what your buying either. No better yet. I have a 6bolt with under 10K! Come buy it from me for 2040! Get my drift?

Thats too expensive. You can get a nice "JDM" engine for half that. I paid 1300 for mine shipped to my door. Keep looking.

I used an ebay vendor named tiger_japanese_auto or something to that affect. You should be able to find them. The owner, Younos, is awesome. Great guy to work with!

they dont have the one with the injectors and it has no ecu the one without injectors is 1850 its not just the engine tho it comes with
