Didn't fail, i sold it to a friend and it sounds great on his car, as for knowing if it was a knockoff or not, who knows, the mystery remains...

I just bought one authenthic type s a few months ago. I checked it out, all legit. The seller had it hidden in his stash all these years!

DuuuhhhHH! You sold it cause you bought your front mount, different flange.. makes sense now! But you do know that they make the kit to attach a hks to a greddy flange?

Wasn;t cause of the kit, i could have easily just worked around what i had and bought a core and fab up custom pipng.
Yes i am aware that they have the adapter for it, but i wanted to try something new, running a 2g maf, all my past dsm all had gm maf, i don't know why i was so big on this, so time for new things .
