Sorry for the hold up, i have a small 30 second clip of me driving, but somehow i keep getting a message that my video can't be published to youtube, anyone have an idea ?
I'll keep trying.

What format are you using?

youtube said:
we recommend that you save your videos as either QuickTime .MOV, Windows .AVI, or .MPG files— these are the most common formats and they work well within our system. We specifically recommend the MPEG4 (Divx, Xvid) format at 640x480 resolution with MP3 audio. Resizing your video to these specifications before uploading will help your clips look better on YouTube.

I'm trying to upload it from my iphone4, i assume it's mp4 format ?

Never mind here is the video :
I am running open downpipe till i take my car in to get a full exhaust done.

What puzzles me is that if it is a knockoff, it makes me wonder why people pay $200 for a new authentic one.

If you compare side by side to a real one, it does have the atrributes of the fake posted on the HKS counterfeit page, yet it sounds awesome. I also know someone running a knockoff of the earlier gen ones and it sounds identical to his or mine which is real. No need to pay $200 if you can find one like this guys. :)

I agree chicken, especially if it can perform as the real one !
Hmm, hopefully this one does good.

Sounds great. How does it hold up on boost?

I may have to pick one of these up

Not sure cause i don't have an aftermarket boost gauge, even though that's in my to-do list real soon.
I will keep this thread updated on that subject nonetheless, no worries good sir.:thumb:

picked up my authentic SSQV V3 for 100. But we had it on as a test bov because my other one was leaking and the snap ring wasnt secure in place....Long story short...The car never saw the 30 psi because of a sudden loss of power followed by some "Ting....ting...ting" sounds...

Pics of the bov ? And for the price you bought it for did you get it used or brand new ?

And after seeing the link that deff gives it away as a knockoff.

Well i just bought a boost gauge last week and will be connecting it and the car will be running by next week after i take care of other little things.
Will keep you updated.

Most if not all T25's that I know drop boost anyways so you won't be able to tell if the BOV is leaking really. Just do a boost leak test, easiest and simplest way to tell.
