? on crankwalk vehicle type?

I have looked this up and still am not clear on the issue. Can a 2g FWD 4G63T engine get crankwalk? Me and a friend were arguing about this issue he says that only AWD vehicles will get it and I wasn't sure but I said I didn't see why it would matter just because it was AWD.

nope, it can be fwd or awd. it is kind of overrated but it has happened. i wouldn't be too worried about it. more common with 7 bolt motors. so to answer your question, yes it can.

Any engine can get crankwalk. Any 2g 7 bolt is more susceptible to crank walk, regardless of the drivetrain layout.
