OK.... the throttle body is leaking...

I did the leak test again last night and was able to trace the leak to the throttle body. I also have a leak around the idle adjustment screw as well. At wide open throttle, I can push on the throttle from side to side and the leak goes from one side of the throttle body to the other as I have quite a bit of side to side play in the throttle shaft. Do I need to replace the throttle body housing or are there bushings/seals that I can replace to fix this problem? Could this leak have been causing the surging/hesitation that I have been experiencing? Any advice on my next step would be appreciated!

The idle air adjustment screw leak is just an o-ring that you can buy at just about any hardware store. I believe it's a #5 o ring. Aprox $0.35
You will have to re adjust it once you put it in. Use some non petroleum grease on it before the install.

and yes, boost leaks/idle leaks will cause all sorts of problems and loss of performance
