Throttle body shaft seals leaking!

Today after trying to tune in my 16g I found out my shaft seals are leaking!! I went to the dealership to order new ones but they dont even sell them!! Were can i get them??

Wiseman i was told i might be able to get them from you guys???
 
Here's 2 VFAQ's on how to do this. It's not hard, but just make sure you follow the directions. The hardest part is putting the springs back on. It is easier to do with 2 people. I also believe I used a very small screwdriver to hold the spring from snapping back. It may take a few tries to get it on.

Snowborder is right about everything he posted. When I did mine I snapped my screws that held on the butterfly door to the middle rod. I guess when I read "tighten the screws, because you don't want them backing themselves out" I took it to the extreme. What I did, when I got a new screw, is put some red loctite on there just for extra insurance.

This is a key step. My brother and I used a cordless drill to back all the screws out. This made it a lot easier because of the torque the drill had. We had started using a regular screwdriver, but found it somewhat difficult, as well as we were starting to strip some screws. We also used the drill to put them back in, but backed the torque setting down so that we wouldn't strip them.

The problem I had when I did mine , was that the screws had been pressed flat on the back . That is why they will be hard to turn out . I actually (very carefully , not really recomended ) used the smallest drill bit I had and drilled out the screws . The plate itself is not the strongest metal , so do not drop it .
 
had to do mine awhile back, followed vfaq and bought orings from ace, worked great but pedal was a little tight for awhile, but eventually wore in. theres usually small boost leak there if they havent been replaced
 
Just use a drill and you will be fine. Put the throttle body on a flat surface (screws facing up) and push down on the screws with the drill and slowly back them out. Works like a sharm. Use a little bit of PB blaster if you want.
 
Hmmm. I think I did mine wrong. I never took out the throtle body plate and didn't have to release the spring side and I solved me leak problem. It wasn't anything major to start with but it agravated me!
