Oil Sprocket alignment after BSE

Well my car has the balance shafts eliminated and im doing a head gasket/timing belt job right now. Does the oil sprocket have to be aligned even tho there isn't any balance shafts? I'm just wondering because I've done the 6 rotations and it still doesn't align. I'm removing it so it doesn't matter right? Only matters when reinstalling?

With balance shafts deleted, you do not need to have it aligned. I do it anyways because I'm OCD.

Thanks, these god damn intake brace bolts are pissing me off. Only thing adn the head studs that are keeping the damn thing on.

Just ditch the intake manifold bracket . It's useless if you've removed the vacuum lines.
