[RESOLVED] BSE Oil Pump Sprocket Question

After doing a balance shaft elimination and cutting off the rear balance shaft, there is no need to get the oil sprocket timing correct, right?

Sorry to bring this back but I didn't want to start a new thread. I bought a new oil pump and front case I removed the bs from my old oil pump and cut it to make the stubby shaft used the same bolt too on my new case but when I try to tighten the bolt on the stubby shaft it stops the oil pump from spinning anyone know what's wrong?

Anyone?
