Ok so I did the BSE kit and im still having trouble keeping oil in the oil pan
Now when I did it and drove it for a little I noticed that there was oil streaming down the crossmember right below the front case. Although I couldnt pin point where it was coming from. I took the timing cover and STILL couldnt find it! So im taking the cover back of and redoing every gasket. I used rtv on the tensioner bolt and the cap to cover the hole for the front balance shaft is also not leaking. So my guess is that the actual gasket is leaking off the side somewhere.
Now heres the real question, Do I use rtv with a gasket on the front case and the oil filter housing? Because I used both and I think maybe I didnt let it sit long enough so the rtv didnt completely set up right.
