Hello, I would like to know if a Oil pan level sensor from a Evo 9 would fit in my Eclipse 2g with a 4g63. Would this work or would it indicate me a false oil level because the oil level is not the same on a Evo 9? Because my oil level sensor is not good anymore.

Thank You

I see. You have already told him.

You didn't get my point. Many sensors are shared between different manufacturers by putting it on their own part number and package. So maybe you would be able to find the same part from a different manufacturer car. That's what I meant and why I recommended you to check some mark or numbers on it.
Anyways you already have the diagram, just do what you need.
Yeah I already researched and there is no other car who was equiped from this part

The part number crosses over to the 4X4 chassis, they really do cross over, that was me searching for a few mins BTW. Pajaro, Montero and Shogun all use the same sensor

Yeah but other than Mitsubishi there is no manufacturer who uses this oil level sensor but as I said I want to close the circuit now and not replace it since you cannot find one.

If you want to cancel the sensor, the diagram would give you some idea. But did you test the sensor and the circuit by following the FSM? Maybe the sensor isn't the issue.
But just I am curious, did you check like the oil level sensor from Toyota cars? I am not sure since I have never seen this sensor but for instance, in case if the Mitsubishi oil level sensor is made by one of AISIN group or so, then maybe some Toyota or Lexus car have the same sensor. Like the one link below, even the connector shape seems to be identical.

I’m gonna look to cancel the sensor and then research a new one. But on mine the black part was in pieces in the oil sump and it’s always showing a bad oil level.
