Fuel level sensor replacement

The rheostat on my fuel level sensor has disintegrated with age. I am trying to find just the fuel level sensor without having to replace the entire fuel sending unit.

Does anybody know where to get a replacement fuel level sensor for a 2g GSX and can tell me?

I think it would be easier to just buy a used assembly unit and be done with it. Good luck with your search. I've personally have never seen just that part before being sold.

Thanks for the input. One thing that holds me back from just getting a used assembly is I don't want to get stuck with a second assembly with a broken rheostat. What a silly part to not be able to get a replacement for. The whole pump sending unit assembly is over $500 new from the dealer but all I need is that one part of it. I am wondering if there is a way to solder on a new arm to the broken rheostat.
