I have the same issue with my sons 96 eclipse non turbo not modified, any ideas would be greatly appreciated
 
What same issue might that be?

The thread you responded to was about a 2G with a turbo 4G63 engine and your son's car has a different engine so the problems and solutions are often very different.

Best to start with a clean slate and describe exactly what's going on.

If it were a 4g63 I'd say check for crankwalk. In the case of it being a 420A, you likely just have a failing oil pressure switch. There aren't many electrical catastrophes that would tie any component of the clutch system to your oil pressure warning light, so it's likely that a certain frequency of vibration (achieved by low engine load) that aggravates the switch.
