1G Engine dies when clutch is pressed in

My 1G NA Eclipse engine shuts off when I press in the clutch, for example when I come to an intersection. This usually happens when the engine has been running for a little longer. I tried googling for solutions but most of them were for turbo 4G63's.

I had same issue and I replaced to cam angle sensor. Problem fixed.
Something about when they get warm I read somewhere.

Most of the turbo suggestions are still going to apply to your NA 4G63.

Check that the IPS is working, the ISC works, that the ECU isn't in need of repairs.

Check for vacuum leaks, clean the TB, check and adjust the base timing and basic idle speed.
