1G Oil leak on oil pump side

Ive been trying to find what could have caused all this oil mess. It has drips running all the way down.

It doesnt look like cam seals and wiping finger along the valve cover there is no oil

Its stumping me...

That is absolutely possible and could make sense.... motor is out at the moment so i can clean it up and see when I put it back in.

Valve cover is connected to a can but could definitely still spit some out if its coming out of the top

It would have to be spraying directly back though as oil tube is bone dry... so still question it
