About 3 Months ago I took everything out of my car including all the gauges.
The other day I started to reinstall all the gauges, but when I got to my oil pressure gauge I couldnt remember what wire went where. So i gave it a guess and hooked the wires up how I thought they should be, but when I turn the gauges on the gauge hand on the oil pressure gauge goes all the way to the right.. Here is what the wiring looks like on the back of the gauge.
It has a red wire and a black wire that goes to the light inside the gauge.
Then it has 3 bolt looking things that you attach wires to.
One says S beside it the other has a + beside it then the last one doesnt say anything
So i hooked the S up to the oil pressure sender
I hooked the + up to a power source
And the one that doesnt say anything i grounded.
Does this sound right to anyone?????
