After hours of searching and seeing random threads made with no real conclusions.
I decided to make this for anyone who has built or baught a custom fabricated hood.
things we'd like to see and know.

1.photos, of finished product and in the process.

2.what kind of cooling or downforce effects did it give your car/

3.what reaction have people given you since you performed this. do they like or dislike it.

I'll be creating my own pretty soon, and i plan on using some math to get the best angles for downforce as possible while cooling effeciantly.
Mine will be a suttle slick design nothing that will jump out at you. I may have a lead on a place that we can actually put my car in and use a fog machine for a simulation wind tunnel.
We will be playing with radiator and intercooler angles as well.
I'll post up when i proceed,

in the mean time please post up your hood setup.

subscribed, I've been looking into getting a new hood to help lower temperatures recently. I just don't have the cash to get anything custom made for me. I hope to see some good results.

Andrew's Brilliant (gixxerdrew) hood designs is hands down the best for our car. It looks like the scoote2 hood but if you really look at it's been fully reworked and a work of aero art.

^^ Greengoblin...do u know the name/maker of this hood. It's freakin sweet!

This is mine. I got bored one afternoon and decided to start hacking some stuff. It's hard to get things lined back up right since it was wrecked but I plan to actually finish it one of these days. Plus with a 4 month old baby and working 12 hour shifts, it's hard to get anything done

Yes,

Andrew Brillant . It was produced through FXMD. You would need to talk to Drew or Ken. I do not know if they are going to be selling them seperate as they where part of VERY limited widebody aero packages Drew designed. I was luck to get one of the 4 or 5 that where made. I do not t know if more will be made but asking never hurts.
