I am new to tuner cars and curious to how much hp these upgrades are good for. I'm considering purchasing this and want to know if it's put together correctly. Here's a list of mods.

4g63 6 bolt motor
Built bottom end
Arp main studs
Arp head studs
Forged eagle Rods
Wiseco dished pistons 9:1 bored .20 over
All cylinders honed to spec
BRAND NEW HEAD never started
Installed with stock cams but I also include BC stage 3 280 race cams
New fuel injection clinic 750cc injectors
$800 tubular JMF manifold
Brand new $1200 TURBONECTICS 50 trim turbo w/ stage 3 compressor.
Oil filter sandwich to directly feed the turbo as well as suppling oil pressure gauge and oil cooler.
Gates timing belt
New water pump
New water pump bolts included (allen head)
Balance shaft eliminated
Stage 3 clutch w/ 8 LB Fidanza flywheel.
New throw out bearing
Included with ARP flywheel bolts
Replaced rubber shift link bushings with aluminum
Brand new master cylinder
Brand new braided Steel master to slave clutch line
 
Hey guys i just put in some octane booster from walmart. My buddy said he got 50whp from it when he put a bottle in his civic..

How much hp do you think i can get from this?

Also i was thinking about attaching a electronic supercharger from ebay to my intake. Do you think it will spool my turbo faster and give me more horsepower?

I was thinking and hoping somewhere in the 300awhp area and low 12's?

This car is my first build so I'm not very good at knowing what combination such as turbo size, psi and other factors to come up with a round about estimate.

Ill take you seriously: Here goes, with the hta68 and the mods listed 300whp isnt even a question. around 400 on a tune would be a ballpark estimate

Not much seems how we run 93 octane and they run regular 87

Just installed a Flux Capacitor in my GSX. IDK how much HP I got but I know I can rocket to 88mph really fast! ROFL ROFL ROFL
 
So im looking to get my car dyno this weekend. Looking to get 300-350 on my small 16g. What do you all think about it. Im thinking 16-20 psi. Mods are up to date in my profile. Is it pointless to go to the dyno without a tune?

Hey all, Wanted to get a ball park figure for my new 20G setup that im hoping to have on here soon. Just a brief rundown of what I do have.

AFPR
Walbro 190(255 waiting to go)
FIC 750's
SD using Werewolf
VRSF FMIC
Snow performance water/meth pending re-install
ARP Headstuds
Unkown cams(was told they where 272's. No markings indicating what they are)
Cyclone duel plane intake
LC-1 WB

The 20G is being built as of right now. Its a 20G wheel with a TDO5H hot side. 7cm ported housing tubular 02 housing. The same turbo but with a down firing compressor housing flowed 52 lb's a minute at 25 PSI on a calibrated GM Maf setup. Only difference is that ill be using a mitsu style housing and using a J-pipe

Im already thinking with a decent tune my car should lay down 400 to 450. Least thats what I gathered from reading from various threads on turbo flow rates and power potentials. Mods are up to date. This will be my 3rd time at the 1/4 drag. What will be my time. Mid 14's. @15psi

I'm not sure but when I had my 1.6 single cam d16z6 with aem v2 intake, skunk 2 manifold, poke catalytic, dc 421 header, act 6 puck. I pull gs eclipses and bad driver gst's and gsx's. So I would say driver also plays a factor.
 
Hey guys, what do you think my car would run in the 1/4 mile? Here's the mods:

Bolt-on Modifications:
16g turbo, evo 3 turbo manifold, o2 housing ported, 272/264 cams, 3 inch down pipe and exhaust, front mount intercooler with 2 1/4 inch piping, k&n air filter, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, 255 walbro fuel pump, , AEM wideband O2, AEM boost gauge in pillar pod

Engine Management:
SAFC, stage 3 keydiver EPROM computer with no lift shift and 2-step set at 5300 rpm, solid motor mounts, manual boost controller.

Engine Internals:
rebuilt engine with balance shaft removed, ACL race bearings, rebuilt head mildly ported

Drivetrain Modifications:
rebuilt transmission, welded center diff, slow boy racing stage 2 pressure plate, with unsprung ACT 6-puck clutch.

Running 24 pounds of boost.

Sorry too burst your bubble but anyone who is willing to tell you what you should make is blowing smoke up your ass. There are too many variables to take into account.

The only way to know is to do a few passes and hope for the best. The driver has A LOT to do with a pass. You can lose several tenths by not knowing how to shift or even over a second if you are bad.
 
Stop wondering and go out and run it. We can guess all you want, but there are too many variables as already stated...
 
Wanted you guys thoughts on this. I have a twin scroll hx35 setup and the other guy has twin turbo setup with an hx35 as his small turbo and a larger turbo for the bigger one. We both have 4g63's and both are fwd. Wanted to some input on which you think would be better as far as ¼ mile and mile runs etc. Thanks
 
so i have a eclipse rs, with a REALLY nice ebay turbo setup. i was told that it should have around 800 whp... what can i expect from the quarter mile???

I pulled low 15.08. The run was before ceddy mods.
12psi I only pulled 15.1
Launch totally killed it and plague with bog of the line @2.6 sec 0-60 feet times... Now with antilag and all that good stuff... here goes

Mods are up to date with ceddy mods.
My next runs will be next month so I'll be back to post results....
I'm guessing about 2.3- 2.1 sec 0-60ft times/ 1/4 in @ 14.7/ MPH @103

we'll see in a few weeks. should make this thread totally worth it and ya'll should come back and post your ACTUAL results

I foresee you running out of injectors before hitting 20psi but I could be wrong.
 
I'm not hitting fuel cut or running lean so yeah dude ;) idk how it's scary but I don't want it to blow because my gauge says it's running perfect or slightly rich

Is it a narrow band or wideband? Get something like link and look at the Idc and it probly through the roof.

15 seconds or even low like 14.7 is a super low time to run with your mods, you getting any traction off the line you need to launch harder and grippy tires. Gatta love the fwd if only you where auto like me you would get good times.:p
