How and why does this thread have 3 pages... Where are the forum nazi's..? I see some grammar that needs correcting. I think the guys from hondatech are going to start coming to this forum for a laugh.
 
This is very obvious that you will lose to his evo. From the looks of things your one of the guys that put a lot of money on your car but dont know what your doing, also if you really had a 40r you would of tossed the 3052 awhile ago. It seems like you probably have the parts but car is not set up to race or is even tuned and this kid in the evo has his car together and can back it up.
if you have seen this car go 11.1 @ 129 then id put money on the evo. If there was even a possibilty of you winning you would have already aggreed to race him and you would be chuckling in the backround because u know your bringin home an evo later. Always know your competition an what your up against.
Oh btw if you do wanna actually win I dont care how your car is setup, put a 100 shot on there for a few runs. That would forsure make u take the cake because even if you bogged you would wheel him in by 140. im drunk an its late it just doesnt seem like it would be a good idea man

Did you report anything? Mods don't know everything, which is why the community is to use that report post button to help.
 
I'm not the nazi.., I'll leave that to you guys. I think half of the rules around here are lame. I'm not trying to help out.

I don't want to call you out completely in the very unlikely case i'm wrong OP, but my gut tells me you're either a complete bullshitter or you paid someone to do your whole build and don't have a clue what you're doing/talking about.

You claim 880awhp and start a thread asking where to gap your spark plugs and asking about .035+ gaps? Really dude? That's like DSM 101.

Then you claim you got pulled over by a cop doing 157mph but it was no problem because it was your buddy.

Now your claiming your 3052 car puts down 600wtq on 24psi...good joke kid.

I never had a DSM before I've had a FD3S for the past 9 years since I started driving and i still got it and ill upload you a video of the dyno tune when i go for a retune on jan 5th so you can see it has 600+awhp on a 3052 and 25lbs...i didn't built the GSX it was a shop car i got for dirt cheap! if it wasn't so cheap i would of never gotten it...and I'm not gonna go guessing shit if i don't know it so i rather ask ppl on forums for their opinion then just go off my...im not a master mechanic by any means but I'm pretty sure you never asked a question tho since your a ####ing GENIUS...
 
Ok, so here's what im working with. 93 talon fwd.
Evo 3 intake manifold/tb, ram horn header, 14b turbo with port work, 2g head with ridges removed from combustion chambers and ported intake and exhaust ports and 3 angle valve job, comp cams 101200's, je pistons, eagle rods, bs delete, cometic hg with arp studs thruout, gm maft, walbro 255 with stock fuel lines, "jdm sport" fm intercooler, 2.25" piping, hks ssqv 2, stock dp/ exhaust with test pipe, and possibly 2g ecu/ harness swap. all on stock transmission with fidanza flywheel and 6 puck clutch (can't think of the brand, not at my house right now.)

What kind of power might i make?

oh, and i also have a sticker of a stick man with a dsm head humping a chick with a honda head. how much hp from this?
 
I've got my X for 5g grand with a blown head gasket and i ended up getting a personal loan for 10 grand and rebuilding the whole thing pretty much and adding the shep tranny and evo transfer case

So first you say you bought it with a blown HG, and you took a 10k loan out to build it to the point/setup it is now. Then you say it was a shop car that you got for dirt cheap???? hmmm :hmm: Half the things you say are wrong ie "evo 8 tcase." And there is no way in hell you are peaking at 600+ awhp on a GT3052 and 25psi. MY shops S2k netted 532 on C16 and 22.5 psi on a GTX-3076 with a .82 tial housing on a DYNO DYNAMICS enough said. So what the fvck are you using? a dyno pack and a 10% correction factor? I'll take 25% of what you say and cut it in half and then maybe ill find some truth to your post.

Also just because you post a video of a black 2g from youtube hitting over 600hp dosent mean its your car..... :rolleyes:

Sorry I know this has probably been answered before I'm new to this turbo im used to n/a cars the internals of the car are forged crank,rods,pistons, internally balanced, has arp bolts the head has hks 272 cams,hks retainers,crower springs,I've hit 25 lbs boost on 110 and it didn't seem to miss or detonate I'm just trying to figure out what I can actually do without hurting the car its got a garrett 60 trim turbo 3"down pipe to 3"straight pipe exhaust hks blow off valve and a shep tranny and tcase and maby by chance a good guess of how much hp the car might have the person I bought the car from said it dynoed 450hp and 430q on 20 lbs boost and ran 11.2 at the strip idk if this is true?
 
Could be anywhere from 350-500 hp depending on the compression ratio, type of fuel, meth injection, even the tune.. the best way to find out is the good old dyno
 
I have most the papers on the work that's done to the car and everything is there the ones I didn't get were the time slips or the dyno I was told it has been tuned and converted to obd1 the dyno idk I live an hr out of reno and not to sure if they have a awd dyno and the time slip has to wait till next year when the track here opens back up with all the mods done what max boost do you recommend not to go over with the amount of work done

Seller lied to you. No way that turbo dyno'd 450whp at only 20psi. Upper limits of a 60trim are in the 489-490 range, and that's at 28-30psi. 20psi MIGHT get you 400whp on a cutting edge tune, with every single supporting mod, and a really high compression motor.
 
That's kinda what I was thinking wasn't really sure if I really had that much power in this car but definitely is way faster and pulls way harder than my old 5.0 mustang witch had 330 hp to the tires and ran a mid to hi 13 but the awd is still kinda hard to get used to and the pull off the line is crazy I tell people all the time I don't own a car any more I own a rocket ship on wheels but what would you not recommend going over on boost
 
Eh tough to say at this point, what does it have for fuel system modifications and tuning device?

If you are running 110 leaded, theres a good bit left in that setup I would wager, provided you can get enough fuel into the engine..
 
Agreed, but one can make a reasonably estimate at potential power production with enough information.

It's not like he's trying to race someone for "pinks" and wants to know how much NAWS he needs to spray without creating danger to the intake manifold and having the footwells fall out.

how does vin diseal get into the car after the footwell falls out, always confused me
