What the hell? 45K and you're complaining? I make roughly 20K a year before taxes the last time i did my calculations and i still make a living. If I made 45K a year I'd have my car fixed already.

Back on topic though. If you are going to race for any sort of gamble race $50 or so don't be a F&F idiot and go for pinks, that's just teenage immaturity

i saw him run 11.1 at the track @ 129 on bf drag radials and i did 11.1 as well but on some random street tires and 26lbs of boost and his was at 29lbs when he ran...we messed around on the freeway from like 50 to 140 closed course of course and i get him by 2-3 cars easy and i was shifting at like 7k instead of 8k but he wants to do it from dig to 150mph...and he only has a twin disc clutch i have a shep stage 2 tranny and evo 8 transfer case but i never launched it launched it from 5750 rpms i done it a few launches from 2500-3000 rpms but the thing with mine even with the tires i have now Hoosier R6's i still break traction 1st 2nd and 3rd gear the thing is all over the place when its over 30lbs...and i don't feel like taking of my FP and slapping on the 40r then it just wouldn't be fair cause then i have 880 awhp and his parents are loaded they just got him a Evo X and i think he's thinking he has a chance since I'm not running the 40R turbo...

and i would run him for money but wants to run either 15k or slips ...and he's not just blowing smoke either he has money and I've never seen him break his word so i know he would hand over the evo

he's a bit over the 600 awhp mark but so am i...and his is all stock interior wise just has some volk wheels 18's with the bf street drags

doesn't stay just starts flashing at me like a xmas tree ..and once i let of the throttle it goes away...and i don't have windows 7 installed on my macbook pro to check what the data log says

boost is at 25 lbs on the fp3052 but i switch it to a gt40r sometimes and boost 35 lbs

Gap my spark plugs? i know its .028 on a stock 2.0L but mine is a 2.4 stroked...i've read .035 and .041 so i wanna see if anyone knows what the right gap should be before i throw them in...

WTF did you miss type this or do you know something i don't? I have never heard of being able to use an evo 8 t-case is a DSM.

Besides that, why ask us if you should race or not?? It is obvious from your post's that you want to, so throw on your 42 or 30 or any other turbo you have and just go do it. post a video while you are at it.

Sounds like your trying to street/grudge race and no one grudge races for slips... Put some money on it, lock it in with a neutral party and set up the race. Its a gamble and anything can happen.

I'm not a racer yet, but i'd do anything to whip ass on a circuit track or time attack... thats where the real racing is. Suggest that and see what happens.

I would never race anyone for pinks. All it takes is a bad launch or a broken axle and your car is gone. Plus who's to say he's actually going to hand over the keys if you pull off a win. Be smart about this.

All I have to say is something can always go wrong I lost 50 bux one time because I was a newb, years ago, turned up boost control to much and hit fuel cut on stock fuel system. I lost so much momentum and was so confused about what happen I lost. Might I add hit my head on the steering wheel when it cut out( reverse airbag).
