Well 550's are going to be your major limiting factor, besides the 14b...

Make sure you add head studs if you plan on boosting more than 20psi..

It has been done on stock studs, but it is reccomended to have arps or L19's..

I can tell you for sure you will have at least 210 HP..

Compression ratio is stock and I guess my biggest question now would be what the 14b can push out with my set up. All the other threads are about 14b with stock fuel system which I don't really need to know.

A simple check on the DSM Dyno challenge shows a top of 324hp (but again this will depend on your car, every car is different in terms of mods) so expect it in that range for top power; apparently he was running 25psi. To get to that point you would need better injectors though.

What injectors would you suggest? And I'm going to be completely honest, the injectors were in the car when i bought it and I'm not sure what size they are. Is there any way to tell? All i know is they are precision.

FPR should always be set at 42-45 I'm assuming you're getting an aftermarket regulator.

Yea its an aftermarket FPR. But I'm going with the 14b because i don't really have the money for anything else unless i come across a good offer. I would love to have something bigger though and i probably will in the future.

Careful going in reverse with that setup. You'll pick up the rear end and pull a reverse wheelie until you hit the breaks,

K so i got a buddy of mine that has a Evo 8 fully built 2.3 stroked with a fp black and he wants to run my eclipse gsx which has a BC 2.4 stroker kit fully built as well and currently fp3052 20lbs daily but i would run him on 33-35lbs and he wants to run for TITLE not even joking he said his has 620 awhp on e85 and 36lbs or something like that while mine has only 540 awhp on 24lbs and e85 but mine has almost 600 tq...if you guys were in my shoes would you run him? Im not afraid of loosing since i always wanted a EVO and heres a chance to get one for free ...also doesn't the 2G GSX only weight 27xx lbs just car no driver...just wanted to see if anyone on here has a evo 8 with around 600 awhp and would they run it for title?

Are either of you experienced at the track with your car that you do consistent times? The Evo has enough power to do 9's, and you have enough to do mid 10's on a good launch without breaking your drivetrain. On the street in Mexico, it will be whoever doesn't misshift and gets the launch. On the race track, it will come down to driver consistency.

To many unknown variables. How much does his car weigh now? What is his power level now? How do you know he won't spray a 100 shot? I would never race for slips. I work to hard for some dishonest person to take it away because he didn't tell the whole truth about his mods. But, Its up to you. I wish you luck

I would never race anyone for pinks. All it takes is a bad launch or a broken axle and your car is gone. Plus who's to say he's actually going to hand over the keys if you pull off a win. Be smart about this.
