ok so here is my issue,

this is intermitten at best, sometimes i get in and start the car and my RPM's, speed, coolant temp, and stock boost gauges wont be working, the dash lights come on but the gauges wont work and neither will my windows, but sometimes my windows will work and the gauges wont WTF

so if a tap my foot on the fuse box inside the car while the key in one eventually they will start to work. now once they are one they wont shut off till i turn the car off which leads me to believe its a relay.

there are two relays on that fuse panel i have replave both of them and nothing has changed

anyone run into something similar. i truely hate electrical!

thanks for the help!

i had a simalar problem..my speedometer wont work but if i tapped the fuse box it would work again.
and it also happened to my locks. i would hit lock and they would unlock and other times if i hit lock they would lock then unlock again

i brought my car to a local place and they fixed the locks for me..as for the speedometer i haven't figured that out yet. it actually started working again today but it was down for about two days

ok im going to swap that panel with the one off my 95 parts car and see if that fixes it.... ill let you know what i find... if that fixes it ill take the fuse panel apart to see what the problem was

You could try swapping the gauge cluster with the parts car and see if the parts car one works in your car. Could be a short or something in the gauge cluster.

well im not sure what the problem was, but i replaced that whole fues box. there is a slight difference frtom the 95 to 96 fuse panel or it could be an auto/5spd difference. theres this part on the back of the panel that is interchangable and i had to swap it over to plug everything back it...

so problem solved... i figure there was just a bad connection inside the panel
