Electrical problem

When I open the door, my lights or the dinging sound does not work. This recently started happening and its still like that. That is not the only thing. When i lock the door, the security light in the dash lights up, but now it doesnt. I had a engine light that has always been on and its the rear 02 sensor and that doesnt come on anymore but it should. My aftermarket cd player started shutting off and on and when i opened the passenger door it would shut off but when you close it it turns on. Its been like this for a couple weeks now. now it doesnt turn on at all anymore. I checked all my fuses, scanned it with the obd2 and it was fine other then that 02. There were no open wires for the cd player. My next step is to check for any loose grounds but I dont know if there is another route to take before i look for loose grounds.

Check your door switch to see if it is stuck in the "in" position. This obiously wouldnt cause your cd player to stop working normally but the switch is probably stuck and thats why your light and buzzer arent going off. Im assuming your "open door light" doesnt come on when you open the door either.

I checked it and it was out so it should work but it doesnt. Its weird because my car runs like it did when i first got it, just great. other than the fact that some of the things wont turn on.

Recheck the door switch's continuity (it connects 2 circuits to ground when out). They can start failing or more usual is they stop making good contact to the body ground through the mounting screw due to rust or muck. Touch the wires to ground first to make sure they work.

I checked that and it was fine. I think my next best thing to do is find a loose ground in my dash somewhere. Where do you think the best place to start looking?
