So, about a month ago I put in a fmic for my 98 talon tsi fwd auto. When the job was complete I started her up, and the horn and lights came and stayed on! Also, the power windows and speaker system no longer work. I disconnected the horn and pulled the headlight fuse. I brought it to a local garage who do electrial work all day, and they replaced a fuse that was hidden and the problem actually went a way.....for about 2 weeks.
There is a brand new battery and alternator. I brought it to a local shop and they saw that some wires in the power distribution center had melted!? I was like really?!? How, nothing has changed, but they think the battery may have been hooked up backwards!
Now I am here and was wondering if I can use a PDC from a non turbo or I need the turbo model?! Thanks in advance.
