420A Electrical problem?

I have some sort of electrical problem, my OBDII port has no communication and none of my interior lighting works. Anybody have any ideas?

98 eclipse GS, 420A engine, manual trans, 140k miles

For the interior lighting I would say check your fuses first as they are definitely on a separate fuse...I know that, because I have blown mine before and it did take a few other things along with it. If the car runs then I would take an continuity tester and check the wires between the OBD II port 12 pin connector and the ECU.

Probably blown 10A fuse - kick panel, 2nd row, 2nd from right. Try another one there.
