This is a thread I'm building for all of us suckers who've bought OBX parts and either can't install them due to lack of instruction or are looking for workarounds.

First of all: Yes I know PBX is 'crap' but its what we have to work with. If you are merely going to insult our choices please go to another thread.
First and foremost I'd like to talk about OBX's `84-2202-0 B, P or R` and `82-2202-3 B, P or R for the 2G 420a. These are a fuel pressure regulator and a fuel rail respectively. I have the former and will be giving images on what and how I've installed parts of it as no instructions are available.

Now down to business:

The `82-2202-3 B, P or R` comes with these things:

So far I've assembled the o-ring and the two blue portions with the two long screws provided. Just a heads up if you don't use the spacers inside the baggie those long screws will leave a gap big enough for the o'ring to slip out.

Now I have bought `84-2202-0B`(see image below) but I do not have it in front of me.

It looks as though it is meant to be installed into the fuel rail on the smaller blue portion.

Given that there are no instructions If anyone has information on OBX parts and installation it would be greatly appreciated if you post here with pictures.

The stock rail is ugly af, some just want some good looking piece to complement the rest. They spent all their money on other good parts so all they had left was OBX fuel rail money.
That's my guess and if it works, who are we to judge?

The shape is interesting but the branding is god awful.

Nevertheless, its still a good article for those in need.

EDIT 1: My suspicions were incorrect the stock FPR is supposed to be cut and added to that hole.
Now the issue is finding what is supposed to be on the other end

That looks a lot like the old B&M Command Flo fuel pressure regulator modifier. You cut the top off the factory FPR and clamp it between the new top and bottom pieces. What's left of the modified factory FRP attached to the fuel rail.

I don't know much about 420A's didn't at some point it switch from a returned fuel system to a returnless system where the FPR is in the rear?

You are correct. I believe it was 95 only that had a return style fuel system while the rest are returnless.

Actually the 98 420a does have a fuel return it's just all right next to the tank.

When we talk about it, it boils down to where the FPR is, before or after the fuel rail. Before is considered "returnless style" and after "return style".

As you point out there is still a return line/passage from the FPR to the tank for the excess fuel.

Thank you for that clarification
