what are the advantages of running and O2 dump i searched and saw some seem to have a place for the qastegate tor un externally i wouldnt want to do that so to speak but can you run them without this, i hear they sound great under boost

You really wont see any hp gains. Its basically just for sound.
They are effective in eliminating boost creep on turbos that are creep-prone, so they do serve a purpose.

Guys who are running 10psi generally hate o2 dumps because they're open all the time. If you're running 20+, they sound badass.

I also love the sound!!! Hey jusmx are you going to hook me up with one for my daily driver???

Most people do it for the loud sound. It also does eliminate any boost creep you might have as well. Plus they can shoot fire!!! Haha but it really is neat. Goes to youtube and see if you like the loud noise they make under boost. If you like it, do it. If not, just throw the O2 back into the exhaust.

I actually still have the one here that was on your G60 for a while....I was kicking around the idea of putting it on my FWD when it's done but I wouldn't be able to run a stock-appearing class with an external wastegate dump.

I'm sure it could be yours if you want it; although do you really want that much noise from a DD? I thought we were trying to keep this car quiet so the wife could drive it and not attract unwanted attention.

It will still be quiet, You might be right we will let that one go!!! I just want it to rip pretty good though! Maybe she will scare the shit out of her self if she rips on it! That would be funny! Its going to be my DD and her track car, if she learns to drive it!! LOL
