I plan on getting an atmosphere dump O2 housing, but i have a few questions.
I have ported the turbo and 02 housing, and i still have slight creep. So i figured i will try an o2 dump.

It seems to me that the fit is quite tight. When i look down at the 02/exhaust it seems to be quite close to the oil filter and frame. Just curious if anyone has the same setup on their car that i am planning on doing.
I just want to make sure i will have no clearence issues or issues with melting the oil filter

also, if you do have an o2 dump, which one?

thanks -ted

MidnightTSI. Still, try to install it, you might get lucky but I doubt it:p
It did not work for me and I still have mine sitting right here in my garage. Well, lesson learned (for me at least). Well, it seems as wvturbo2 is looking for an o2 dump, you should sell it to him.LOL I'm not going to sell mine, since I know that its a piece of Sh.t and I don't want to rip anybody off. I ask punishment racing if they could make me a custom o2 dump. Where the o2 is actually dumping to the atmosphere, not into the engine bay. Basically an o2 dump but with a longer dump and diagonal tube so that it safetly dumps to the atmosphere and away from alternator and oil filter.:rocks:

We can place the dump tube anywhere you want it. Shoot us an email and we will get you something fabbed up:thumb:

I'm looking at their site, and its about $220 for the same thing as the SSAC one. I don't want to get into a debate about quality made products, but for something like an o2 housing, I don't really see a difference in the two, and the Punishment one is more than double the price.

They kinda do look the same but one of the big difference is that: punishment guarranties an OEM fitment and will mate with all down pipes that were design to fit the stock o2 housing. Ohh yeah, I almost forgot: On the SSAC o2 dump, in order to be able to actually bolt it up to the stock turbo 14b (at least on the 1g's), you are going to have to bore out the holes for the 3 bolts and 1 for the stud, since they don't quite aligned like they should:p And then after this, you can finally tested to see IF it will mate with your aftermarket down pipe;)
