o2 dump

so i put the o2 dump on my car and i was just wondering what its supposed to sound like ### i dont think my wastegate opens all the way all i hear is a loud flapping noise, do i possible need a new turbo or wastegate?

Generally an O2 dump sounds like a loud fluttering sound.
