o2 dump installation problem . . .

so im removing my stock o2 housing and i open up all the bolts nicely, everything is going great until i try to take the o2 housing off the car, and i realize the dipstick line is in the way . . . there is no way the housing can come off . . . any suggestions . . . ? . . . thanks

You can move the line forward or toward you if need be. It is flexible enough, I just don't suggest doing it alot. I have done it 2 times in my car...ever. It might be strong enough to move a few more times, just don't need to so I haven't.

I have swapped o2 housings on my car multiple times and the only thing that was in the way was the coolant line...i had to disconnect it and move it in order to access one of the rear bolts on the o2 housing. You can bend the dipstick a lil to get clearance.

There is a bolt that bolts the dipstick tube to the block, remove the bolt so you can puch the tube a little to the side.
