nyc 91 gsx, just bought Ideas? New to dsm's

I recently purchased a 91 gsx , i payed too much LOL but they are hard to come by (for me that is). I stripped down engine bay down to body currently sanding :toobad: i have no compressor :( + a DA wont fit in them tight spaces anyway. I know ill ###### get flamed for this but im shooting for some big numbers, Maybe 600 awhp but 500 is plenty (for now that is) . Im loyal to :dsm: my first car was an 03 lancer es it was all i could get at the time but when i finally came to terms that the 4g94 engine was :barf: i drove it into the ground LOL. I did the most with it while i had it, Piggyback rrm ecu, rrm headers,custom 2.5" exh ,Injen cold air, And i managed to lighten it to 2400 without driver i weighed it unknowingly though haha i was dropping off some scrap n the receipt showed 2600 w me in it, i weigh 200 so LOL. However with all that i was at like 110 hp MAXX!! b4 nithrous. Had a 75 shot wet zex kit. I never dynoed, no reason to i was too embarassed LOL. I can say this much, It held its own in its own classes ie: na 4 bangers. I know a few things about cars but not much i would like to know if anyone in the nyc area can drop through sometime n drop some advice or here would b fine, im planning for 600 like i said b4

currently planning for a 20g
and all supporting mods i know of walbro,injectors,n all the little stuff that supports power too many to list but i know.

I juss need some ideas, im about to start building n gathering parts would like to know which parts to steer clear of n which r worth it as i progress with my build ill keep updating as i progress i want to set it up for road race but must b streetable too. im trying to narrow it down to give u an idea of where im headed. any help would be koo :dsm:
 
im not sure of this but you might need adjustable cam gear for that much power. you can fine tune the larger cams with them. I would do some searching on all your questions there are many of thread that will give you the right info.
 
you should look into a bigger turbo than the 20g for those numbers you're looking to put out. also, dont forget about meth and dsmlink....gods gift to dsmers
 
patience is something i have for alot of things, but when it comes to my wants i cant wait LOL,

so yeah as soon as i got it i took it apart, ive noticed rust on the lifters, one side of all the valve springs and the tops of the valves?????? LOL also noticed the center main bearing had DEEP scratches in it, also the balance shaft bearings looked like someone was poking at it with a screwdriver and gave up!! LOL (balance shafts were non-existant though) also notices the little aluminum elbow that bolts up to the tb has hks stamped on and the intake filter is also an hks item mind you that thing is huge it looks like some type of cage or animal trap, also noticed all the intercooler piping was welded together with what looks like regular fence pipes and the clamps were not clamps!!! it was wires twisted together!!! the coolant reservoir was hanging by a hangar and the radiator, well i made it to my garage. this car was sooo mistreated i feel like filing a report LOL... but its in good hands now i imagine its gonna take quite a while to rebuild. I am a full time mechanic by day and work at a performance shop after hours, the car is a lil distance from me so i usually have to go out my way to get to it n work on it. Ive recently removed the electric seat belts, a/c pump was already removed when i got it, tossed the back seat and enough stereo wiring to wire a building. My last car i removed so much weight it sounded like a can of nuts n bolts, im keeping the interior intact from the front seats forward and plan to carpet the back. I will transfer my zex nithrous kit to this car once i have the new motor in and plan on tossing the ac from under the dash, i still have a scar from removing the one on my previous car LOL.
I dont do power steering
I dont do a/c
I dont do audio (the engine alone is my symphony)
I dont do body kits or stickers

Basically i dont do anything that doesnt affect performance, aside from a paint job. I managed to de-wing it, my bro works at a body shop and he does my work for me i can get it sprayed for like 1k in a booth n all.

in a nutshell i want to "bullet proof my motor for 1000hp but keep it at sub700 hp juss for cheap insurance (if you wanna call it that). The only thing im worried is if the wisecos will hold that power. I called up slowboy and they said mahle i beams and wisecos r good for like 900, thats fine. I just had the blocked decked n cleaned n now im looking for a good machine shop to do some headwork

if anyone knows of anyone who does headwork in the nyc area and polishing please let me know i need a reputable shop i can trust. so i can focus on valvesprings and ss valves to have em dropped in at the same time. odometer says 120000 miles i think i heard somewhere that lifters shouldve been changed a long time ago + they got rust anyway

ok juss ordered up some manley h beams and wisecos from slowboy, he claims im good for 700 with these are they good for wut im lookin at? if so which turbo am i lookin at , im looking to set it up for circuit ...2.0 i dont care for lag as long as its round 5k range, i also ordered a kevlar timing belt and i dont have it right now for dual valve springs so i gotta scrape some up...ideas?
