Thank you sir. My setup is predominantly DSM R&D and components. My drivetrain, JRZ suspension, knuckles, and sub-frames are 4G63 adaptations. I have a group of NABR friends here in Denver who've passed a lot of good information on to me and helped me develop this car.

please post a dyno sheet for your 1000hp!
Don't need to Don... I have slips. My last 1/2 mile land speed event I bested 173mph at 9300ft DA. Slips are on my FB. But I'm not here to grandstand about my 3S... I'm here for some TD-05 turbo upgrades. I've tapped out my current setup and would like an upgrade. The only guys that make turbos for MY DSM flanged setup that are worth a shit... Forced Performance.
 
where was your half mile event at? We ran the local springs event at the airport the second day and saw no such 3S. None of any kind actually. We were there with our white Mirage.

I participated on day 1.

What was your best trap speed? And how much horsepower are you making at the wheel?

Whomever was inquiring about how much horsepower... at 27 psi I made seven hundred and twenty ish. However, at the Airstrip Attack @ Pikes Peak I wired my wastegates shut and was hitting 37 psi at peak and tapering off to 34 psi. My setup is maxed out.

At the airstrip attack:

at 25 psi I was trapping 140 s
at 27 psi I was trapping mid 150 s
at 32 psi I was trapping 160 s
wastegates wired shut high 160's best of 173mph.

Can anyone tell me if theres any DSM TD-05 frame turbos that are an upgrade from my current setup? I'm trying to put something on that will bolt right in, and not have to reinvent the wheel and change my exhaust setup.
 
I would love to see some time slips. We went 167mph with 660hp uncorrected with our fwd mirage. Very traction limited. It spun hard all the way through third gear and finally hooked in fourth. All we had for tires this year was a 7" slick. We are coming back with a better tire choice next year and what should end up at 800-850hp uncorrected. Stepping up this winter to a more serious motor and from a 66mm turbo to a 74mm turbo.

I think I know who you are. I saw you post up your dyno runs on Colirafo Racing.net. You have the Mirage rat rod that put down 800 horsepower and 560 torque SAE corrected.

Was this the same car that was trapping 160's at the Pikes Peak Airstrip Attack?

Stealing dyno sheets to pass on his own, fabricating webs of lies, and getting caught in them, among a myriad of other things. I haven't laughed so hard in a while. 3Si is ruthless. Also using vague descriptions is his forte of deception. 100% carbon fiber? Maybe the exterior body panels like doors, hatch, hood, fenders but anything venturing into the chassis itself I highly doubt which makes it misleading. That's venturing into supercar territory like Pagani. Near 1000hp? Sure, that's a relative term. Some could claim 700hp is near 1000hp. But reality is, it's still 700, and is not 1000. Don't go stealing any of the real 1k hp dyno sheets off this forum either. We'll know.

Here's my first shakedown pass at 9:30am on day 1. It was right at 30psi. Easy rollout no 2-step or anti-lag. The DA for this pass was around 9000ft. I tried to embed more pics at 34psi but they are set to private on my FB and won't embed. My wastegates wired shut runs were averaging right around 167-169mph. When I engaged 2 step w/antilag I bested with 173mph. I also melted the gas pedal armature when I engaged the 2-step. Granted I was hot lapping. I cooked the OEM gas pedal assembly supports. I pushed the pas pedal thru the firewall on that pass and the throttle froze wide open. That was the last gung ho run of the day for me.

The 1/2 mile event was really fun! I will be back in 2015 about 700lbs lighter and hopefully with more power if I can get my turbos upgraded. I'm counting on Forced Performance having something so I don't have to re-pipe the entire turbo setup.

I do remember you now. You have the mechanical timing cog driven fuel pump like Hal? You were making 800+ horsepower the last time I saw. We are averaging the same s trap speeds at Pike Peak and my car weighed about 1000lbs more than yours at the event. We should give it a go next year. :/

I own the rat rod. It is about to be torn down and converted to running a diesel engine. The car we competed with was an 89 mirage that weighs 2250lbs with driver. It was running a 66mm Borg Warner turbo at the time. I run a holset on the rat rod.

why not move to a smaller t3 setup? I know it is more money initially but, you have far more viable options both small and large moving to a t3. I think anything td05 based is garbage for big power.

Gotcha. I thought the Mirage was the same engine for some reason. Is this you and your results from the event?

I know I should upgrade to a single setup. I'm in denial. I'm quite vested into the setup I'm currently running and just can't justify spending thousands to develop a new setup (even though I know that's what needs to happen). If FP doesn't have anything for me then that's the road I'm going down. There really isn't stuff on the market for my engine or platform as it relates to singles. Not one vendor makes a setup and there's ZERO racing development on single turbo for the 6G72. ALL of my CODSM brethren keep telling me to go single. Maybe it's time and I'm being foolish? What do you anticipate your spool time to be with that 73mm upgrade?[DOUBLEPOST=1414967879][/DOUBLEPOST]
Sorry but im not seeing it 1000whp you better be faster than that considering dsm guys are going faster in quatermile than that and are under that hp they are close very close
Umm, read. I said I make 800+whp and the engine is nearing 1000hp. Quit hating. I'm not here to argue with you. When you build a 9 sec car and want to race come talk smack.
 
that is us. I said t3's, not one, two of them. A whole lot more options. I tuned a 1g last weekend with a striker and an FP Black. While I am not a fan of forced performance, the car moves very well. It should run low 12's or high 11's full weight here at altitude.he was still in a bolt on td05 housing. It ran well enough I guess.

the car already spools late as it is. We had this same turbo once be for but, it was with a 96mm exhaust wheel and a T6 housing. Back to an 83mm wheel and a 1.10a/r T4 housing. We are straight line racers, so spool is irrelevant to us.
