Does my air intake have to be tight like my IC pipings? Does it need to be able to hold boost? When the car hits 2k rpms it studders, and won't rev any higher.
 
No, the air intake pipe does not get pressurized and therefore is not a concern in the context of boost leaks. Although it doesn't need to attached/coupled as tightly as the IC piping you still want a tight enough seal as to prevent getting unmetered air sucked in after the MAS which may cause you to run lean.

A boost leak can be anywhere between (and including) the compressor housing of the turbo and the intake manifold. It would be a good idea to start with a boost leak test as a possible cause of your issue.
 
it does'nt hold boost but keeping it tight will prevent dirt and other nasties from getting in. Your stuttering could be a number of things. Start off by checking your plugs, ignition wires, fuel filter, air filter, PVC valve and for any loose connections. If that does'nt fix it you'll need to do a boost test to find any air leaks. how did you set your air intake? does the mas sensor is plugged in? one guy had the same problems a while a go He bought a new Intake pipe ,took the mas sensor out and just installed the pipe with some ebay crappy air filter LOL.He was hitting 2000 rpms but no more LOL
 
Thanks for the replies, when I disconnect the MAF the car idles smoothly for a few seconds, rev's a little higher, but still isn't passing 4k RPMish. Another thing is, when i gain boost now, I hear all the air charging right through the IC pipes, sounds really loud. I'll be making a leak tester tomorrow, i'll keep you updated. I saw that you have a nice mods list( setup ) but if you asked about "intake piping as tight as ic" or whatever you said , It sounds like to me that you bought the car like that. Am i wrong?

Those the car backfire's at all ? More info please.
 
I boost leak test from the intake pipe all the way to the valve! It's really a good way to check for leaks in the intake. I found a loose coupler in my recirculation hose and a split in my throttle body elbow today. I would not have found the recirc hose issue had I not included the intake pipe.

I'm new to the whole turbo thing. I'm a mechanic and I rarely see setups like this one.
The car does backfire a little bit.
