When you have a 255 lph fuel pump, and you go to get your AFPR, is the goal to lower Fuel PSI in the rail or Raise it?

In some cases, it depends on what type of regulator you have. With some, the lowest adjustment is around 43psi @ idle. If you have link, you should be able to get it to compensate for the higher pressure at idle.
