SUp all , what if the first cheap MOD you could make to this 2006 Eclipse?

3. Get an intake pipe with a filter, its pretty cheap and will be a mod.

There are different brands of intakes, and of course varying costs depending on the brand, and different shops will have different costs for labor (you'll find there are shops that don't do work on DSM's at all, but will suggest to you ones that do).

If you have even a little mechanical know-how you can easily install it yourself. I highly suggest picking up a service manual if you are going to do any of the mods yourself, and of course search the forums here as there is a wealth of information on what you're looking for and how to go about doing it.

My buddy had one of these. Very hard to make horsepower on he said. Mostly because their ECU's are "uncrackable" he always said.

yea on the 2006+ eclipses if you want more power buy a v6 version =)
