non turbo eprom ecu?? is this true?

ok i know there is tons of threads on the eproms but this is just a quick question!

IS it true some non turbo models came with eproms??

Found some one selling one for $100 shipped and just want to see if this is true!
i looked up the part number on the ecu and didnt see it in the list thats has been posted many times!
so i figured id ask and see what yall had to say about this!!
