I have a 1 gen 6 bolt stock bottom end balanced with balance shafts removed. A race ported head with bigger valves and turbo auto cams. Stock intake and exhaust manifolds are extrude honed. A Fidanza flywheel and a stock replacement K&N. I am running stock everything else with a SAFC. Is 150WHP and 146WTQ any good? I havent seen a lot about NA motors on here.

That was on a Mustang Dyno also I do know they tend to give lower #'s.

I cant turbo cause of rules

Are you using this car for dirt track racing 4 cyl fwd. U could use a hyundai elantra 1.6 tranny clutch and flywheel. Less rotating mass and a lower gear ratio. but you might have reliabilty issues. I have a 95 elantra beater that has a 4g63 in it before i boosted it, i had headers and turbo heads and it was way more torque when i used the 1.6 tranny setup, but i broke a lot of clutch discs. Then i used a laser fwd tranny and it seemed to have less.

Are you using/can you use adjustable cam gears? IIRC turbo cams are designed with very little valve overlap which is good for spool and bad for N/A performance. I think one of the cams on an Hyundai 4g63 is turned either 1/4 or 1/2 compared to a turbo head.

Well put Crower 272's and lost a good bit on the dyno. Time to stroke and raise compression i guess
